2. What this site is
This site explains online marketing topics: SEO, local SEO, content marketing, PPC management, web design and social media. There is no account, no shop, no form, no newsletter and no advertising. We only process the data listed below.
3. Data we process
3.1 Hosting and server logs
When you open the site, our hosting provider Grigora processes technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and version, operating system. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
Retention: Grigora deletes the server logs according to its own periods. We will tell you the current period on request.
3.2 Scripts for display and animation
For animations, the site loads program libraries (GSAP and AOS) from the cdnjs service of the provider Cloudflare. Your browser transmits your IP address and technical data to Cloudflare. Cloudflare sets no cookies for this.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and consistent display).
3.3 Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your email address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message in order to reply. Our email provider is Fastmail.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (your enquiry) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying).
Retention: We delete the message once your enquiry is resolved, at the latest after 6 months.
3.4 Audience measurement without cookies (Umami)
We measure how many people visit the site and which topics they read. For this we use Umami via Grigora's service. Umami measures page views, browser, device and country. According to its documentation, Umami sets no cookies and collects no directly identifying data.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in simple audience measurement).
3.5 Consent management (cookie banner)
The site shows a consent banner from the GetTerms service. To do this, your browser loads the banner from gettermscmp.com and transmits your IP address and technical data to GetTerms. Your choice is stored in your browser so the banner does not appear on every visit.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR (proof of consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in compliant consent management). Storing your choice is strictly necessary (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). You can change your choice at any time via the GetTerms cookie settings on the site.
3.6 Google Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data on page views, device, browser and approximate location. Without your consent, the site does not load Google Analytics and your browser does not connect to Google.
Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the GetTerms cookie settings on the site.
Retention: Data is deleted according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. We will tell you the current period on request.

We only share data with the providers named above. They process data on our behalf or for their own purposes:

6. Obligation to provide data, automated decisions
You do not have to give us any data. Without server logs, the site cannot be delivered. We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.
7. Cookies
Without your consent, this site sets no cookies for statistics or advertising. Only your choice in the cookie banner is stored (section 3.5). Google Analytics sets cookies only after you consent (section 3.6).
8. Children
This site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
